Lexus publishes repair procedures for each model, and an approved repairer follows them rather than improvising. Four things sit behind the approval.
We repair the Lexus range sold in Australia, across the sedans, the SUVs and the hybrids, including the NX, RX, UX, ES, IS, LS, LX and LC. Each has its own structural layout and procedure set, and we work to the one that matches your build.
Most of the Lexus range sold here is hybrid, which means a high voltage system that has to be shut down and isolated to Lexus’s procedure before anyone opens a panel. That is a safety matter for the technician and a damage matter for the car, and it is not something a general workshop should be improvising around.
Lexus uses multi layer finishes where the colour you see is built from several coats, and some of the whites and reds in particular are notoriously difficult to match. Spraying to the paint code alone will not get there. We match to the panel in front of us, spray test cards, check them against the car in daylight, and blend into the adjacent panels so there is no edge to catch the light. Our spray painting page explains the process in full.
Lexus Safety System components are mounted to the body. Replace a bumper, a windscreen, a grille or a mirror, or disturb the suspension, and the sensors are no longer where the car expects them to be. Recalibration happens before the car leaves us.
Bring the car in or send photos. We quote on what we can see and tell you what is likely underneath, because hidden damage found late is what makes repairs run over.
Hybrid system isolated to procedure, panels off, structure measured against Lexus’s data.
Repaired where Lexus permits repair, replaced where Lexus requires replacement, joined with the method specified for that joint.
Matched to the panel, blended into the neighbours, baked, then cut and polished so the texture matches the factory finish as well as the colour does.
Sensors recalibrated, fault codes checked, panel gaps and finish inspected under proper light, road tested, cleaned.
We are an approved repairer for AAMI, RACV and NRMA and work with every major insurer. Many Victorian policies include choice of repairer or let you request it. If you want your Lexus repaired by an approved repairer rather than whoever is next in the network queue, tell your insurer, and we will deal with the paperwork. If you were not at fault you generally have a free choice, and our accident assistance page covers towing, the claim and a replacement vehicle.

Repairs carried out by an approved repairer, to Lexus’s procedures, with genuine Lexus parts, are intended to protect your factory warranty. If you have a doubt about a specific job, ask and we will put it in writing.
Yes. Structural parts, panels, glass and fasteners come through Lexus.
Yes, and it is the part we take most seriously on these cars. We match to your panel rather than to the code, and blend into the adjacent panels.
Often. Where the paint is unbroken and the panel allows, paintless dent removal keeps the original finish, which matters more on a Lexus than on most cars.
It depends on the damage and on parts. We give you a time frame after the car has been stripped and assessed, and tell you if it changes.
Yes. We repair every make. The manufacturer approvals mean four makers have audited how we work, and those standards apply to every car that comes through the door.
Alongside Lexus repairs we handle smash repairs, panel beating, spray painting, paintless dent removal, accident assistance and replacement vehicles.
